             A dashing and powerful hitter opening batsman, he played most matches in Lions as Opening batsman and he was only constant opening batsman and occasional Right handed fast bowler. He was key player for Lions while batting first and while chasing too. He became captain for Lions against Talpur Wada King but after a lost a match against them, Tanveer resigned from captaincy and he told that captaincy is affecting his performance. His 116* in just 26 balls knock against TWLions A is a record highest individual total ever in the history in such shorter form of game, In this knock he hit 16 sixes. In 2nd match against Sakhani Smashers, Tanveer bagged 4 wickets & only 10 runs conceded in 3 overs. In this match he proved that he is a quality all-rounder. But after few matches he went to Karachi for Education purpose and this was a big loss for Lions.
